More drama w/ Disney

Okay,

So I contend that Disney has ruined little girls and their attitude of growing up and finding a man. If we examine the movies and stories they have put out about princesses and princes they all say the same thing, the man of your dreams (your prince charming) will come and sweep you off your feet and take you away into the sunset to me married and live happily every after.

WHAT A BUNCH OF CRAP. All these princesses, Jasmine, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Mulan (who is not even a princess I might add), Snow White, Pocahontas, and Ariel all are searching for the perfect man. And yes, in the end they do find him but not with out adventure and drama. Little girls want to be like the princess' they see on TV, they want the pretty dress, they want the septure, they want the magic powers, and the crown. If you don't believe me, just look at the number of princesses there are at Halloween, and how many think they are their favorite Disney princess, it is pathetic.

Then women spend their entire lives searching for Prince Charming, only to subconsciously over analysis ever single thing a man does and compare to their own prince charming.

Disney has ruined the opportunity for little girls to grow up and expect the normal things from a man...nothing but grief. There-in-lies the problem, b/c of these movies, today's man has to strive to be like those princes'. Saving the day, buying flowers, cheering them up,sing the perfect song at just the right time to make the world a better place, slaying the dragon, having a perfect kiss that solves all life's problems. This is a hard task to live up too. I know many a man that spend their entire lives trying to be the prince, only to fail over and over again, it is never good enough. Men, we will never be the Prince Charming, stop trying.

Sherk is the only true movie about princesses i can handle, b/c Sherk is not really a prince, and deep down the princess is actually an ugly ogre also, so they are both the same in the end. Which is more true in life than any Disney movie. You find the person that you can live with you and you can fall in love with b/c you see some of yourself in them and they see some of themselves in you. You have similar like and dislikes and you bond over those, everything else is trivial.

So, that is my contention over Disney and how they have ruined little girls and little boys.

Disney has it out againest Mothers

So I have this theory that Disney does not like mothers.

Let's think about this, Disney says they are a family company and they are a kid friendly company, and they promote the imagination of our nations you. But were are all the mothers in their stories. (i have another beef with Disney about the whole princess' and knight in shining armor thing, but that is for another ramble)

Where are all the mothers??

Ariel from the Little Mermaid only had a father

Belle from Beauty and the Beast only had a father

Jasmine from Aladin only had a father

Pocahontas did not have a mother only a father

Mulan only had dad, she even went and fought in his place during a war.

Sleeping Beauty did not have a mother

Did Snow White have a mom... NO.

Cinderella had a mother but she was a step-mother and was "evil." Maybe we can blame the terrible stigma that step mother have on Disney. Maybe stepmother would have been more warmly embarrassed by their step children had Disney not tainted the step parent waters.

Bambi had mom, but what happened to her...she died.

Tarzan had both of his human parents die.

Okay, there were a few mom's... Simba from the Lion King had a mom that actually save the day, the parent in Toy Story was a mom, but you never did see her. Dumbo had a mom, but she did not like him for a while. Even the mom in Mary Poppins was scarcely around.

So can somebody explain to me what is up with why Disney has it out against moms'??
